Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Hon. Dr. Godwin Friday, alongside Minister of Tourism Hon. Dr. Kishore Shallow, has signed a Public-Private Partnership Agreement with Global Ports Holding, marking a significant step forward in the development of the Kingstown Cruise Port and the continued growth of the country’s tourism industry.
The agreement is expected to attract new investment, create opportunities for local businesses, support job creation, and stimulate greater economic activity throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Speaking on the importance of the partnership, Prime Minister Friday said the initiative reflects the Government’s commitment to building a nation that is open to opportunity, confident in its future, and focused on ensuring that economic growth delivers tangible benefits for its people.
Officials believe the partnership will strengthen the country’s cruise tourism sector, enhance visitor experiences, and contribute to long-term economic development.
The Government has described the agreement as an important milestone in its vision for a stronger and more prosperous St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
