Grenada’s Prime Minister, Dickon Mitchell, met with a delegation of Canadian officials on Thursday to discuss opportunities for collaboration in several key sectors.
The delegation included Ontario’s Minister of Energy and Mines, Stephen Lecce, Associate Minister in the Office of Women’s Social and Economic Opportunity, Charmaine Williams, along with other government representatives.
Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in healthcare, energy, and skills development as Grenada continues to pursue partnerships that support its national development goals.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting formed part of ongoing efforts to deepen international relationships and identify opportunities that can contribute to economic growth, workforce development, and improved services for the people of Grenada.
Officials expressed a shared commitment to exploring areas of mutual interest and building stronger ties between Grenada and Canada.
