The Dominica Young Entrepreneurs Club (DYEC) is inviting the public to come out in large numbers for the DYEC Talent Hunt 2026, taking place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. at The Factory, Valley Road, Roseau.
The event promises an exciting evening of music, dance, comedy, and entertainment, showcasing talented young people who have dedicated their time, energy, and passion to preparing for their opportunity to take the stage. Contestants will have the chance to share their talents, creativity, stories, and aspirations with the Dominican public.
The programme will also feature special guest performances from accomplished local entertainers and groups, including the Sisserou Singers, bringing culture, energy, and entertainment to an already exciting evening. A distinguished panel of judges will also lend their experience and expertise to the competition.
For DYEC, however, the Talent Hunt represents much more than an evening of entertainment. Our guiding principle is simple: “The Youth Is Our Greatest Investment.”
We believe that investing in young people is an investment in the future of Dominica. Every young person deserves an opportunity to be seen, heard, encouraged, and empowered to discover and develop their potential. Sometimes, one opportunity, one platform, or one person willing to believe in a young person can make a lasting difference.
The DYEC Talent Hunt is one of the ways we are creating that platform.
The event is also a fundraising initiative in support of the continued work of the Dominica Young Entrepreneurs Club, a community-based organization committed to providing young people with mentorship, training, entrepreneurial development, strategic support, and psychosocial assistance to youth at risk. Proceeds from the event will help us continue and strengthen these programmes.
