Dominican volleyball coach Ray Robinson has been appointed Regional Coaches Coordinator of the Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association, ECVA.
In his new role, Robinson will lead efforts focused on the career growth, training and development of volleyball coaches across ECVA member federations.
Robinson’s involvement in volleyball spans nearly three decades. He first represented Dominica at the national level at age 17 in 1997, before eventually transitioning from player to coach in 2014.
Speaking on his appointment, Robinson said the position provides an opportunity to continue strengthening the ECVA coaching fraternity and ensure coaches are better equipped to support their players.
ECVA President Glenn Quinlan said Robinson’s appointment reflects the association’s commitment to continuity, growth and capacity-building throughout its member federations.
The appointment represents another significant achievement for Dominican volleyball as Robinson takes on the regional responsibility of helping to develop the next generation of coaches across the Eastern Caribbean.
