The Dominica Football Association (DFA) continues to strengthen grassroots football development across the island through the FIFA Football for Schools (F4S) Programme.
DFA Technical Staff, along with other members of the Association, recently completed the distribution of football equipment to several schools in Dominica, providing young players with valuable resources to support their development in the sport.
Among the schools benefiting from the initiative were Will Strathmore Stevens Primary School and Wesley Primary School, both of which received football equipment through the FIFA Football for Schools Programme. Additionally, Light House Christian Academy received football supplies through the DFA’s grassroots development programme.
The initiative forms part of the Association’s ongoing commitment to increasing participation in football at the school level and creating opportunities for young players to learn and develop their skills in a structured environment.
The DFA said that by investing in schools and providing essential equipment, it is helping to build a stronger foundation for the future of football in Dominica while encouraging healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and personal development among the nation’s youth.
