Death announcement of Matthew George, age 72, of Colihaut, who resided at River Estate, Canefield. He was a gospel minister and writer, former national and regional cricketer, and Labour Commissioner in the Public Service. He passed away on Thursday, 14th May, 2026.

Viewing, Family Visitation and Tributes
An opportunity will be available for viewing of the late Matthew George, visitation with his family, and the sharing of tributes and condolences on Thursday, 2nd July, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Canefield Gospel Mission Church.

Funeral Service
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, 4th July, 2026, at the Coulibistrie Gospel Mission Church, beginning at 1:30 p.m., preceded by viewing of the body from 12:30 p.m.

Interment will take place at the L’Anse Cola Cemetery.
